the holidays

Happy New Year!
And since I've been MIA during the festive season, I hope you had a jolly, holly,
Merry Christmas too.

I've been busy these past few days, trying to edit all the works that remained unposted, so even if it's 2020 already, for months to come, I'll be posting all of the 2019 latest news (shhh, no one has to know). And since everyone is talking about decades, I've just realised that with the wrap of 2019, was also a wrap of a decade-long blog of mine. Happy anniversary you old sport. You carry a lot on your shoulders, I hope we'll keep it going for another decade or so. I would like to thank my family, the universe... OK, we don't have time for this.

So to start this year right, I've thought I'd keep the spirit bright — secretly hoping that some snow will eventually show up, since there was no sight of it this winter and it was just sad — and share two of the most festive portraits I've made this Christmas. Even do the backgrounds are quite simple, not filled with any holiday typical elements (except one), I've kept the spirit in the colours. I've always wanted to do Christmas coloured outfits in a portrait. And I got to do not one, but two, lucky me.
