octopus wall

This is a project I had to make during this fall but I got so caught up in work and crafting and the holiday spirit, that I completely forgot to write about it. This explosion of colours lays on the walls of PrintPress, a printing shop in Timi┼čoara. The theme was pretty much of my own choice, the only condition being "it has to be really colourful and happy" and of course, that was no problem for me.

It was a challenge though, since I have never painted something this big outside, and as you might know I am Captain-Slow, but I managed to get it done in a few days. I used only brushes, my weapon of choice, and water-proof paint. While I was painting it I definitely learnt a couple new tricks and I hope to have more projects like this coming up. In the end, I think it turned out quite nice. Hope you like it as well.

.net magazine feature

This feature in .Net Magazine was really exciting, I was asked to take part in this project by Vlad, who's actually credited in the article. He had to redesign a page for a hand-made shop and he chose my little shop. In the image you'll see his ideas an concept, which I personally think is great.

So thank you for the opportunity and feature!

eco bag for uman

I was so excited about this project and now it has finally taken shape. Briefly, Uman decided to promote local artists and create eco bags with their designs which later could be found (and purchased) in local  Uman shops.

For my design, I decided to create a monstery stag full of geometric patterns. I think it turned out nice but I definitely like it better in print. You can find mine on-line (uman.ro) and in Uman shops in Timi┼čoara.

Here you have all the designs, I think each and every one is so special and it was really hard to decide which one I liked the most, therefore I got one of each. So hurry up and get your eco bag, they are a limited edition. You can find all of them on-line, and separately in the shops around the country.
