the singles

I get it, the title can be misleading, but I'm not saying that the people portrayed here are single, from a relationship point of view, but just stating the fact that there is just one person portrayed in the illustration. And that is how I paired them for this particular post. Now that the semantics are cleared out, I just wanted to say that this post is actually about hobbies and passions. That is in fact what these portraits are mostly about. What we do as a job or what we do as a hobby, defines us in one way or another. Or entirely, actually. Whether it's travelling, creating, innovating, helping others or whatever it might be, I just love people that are 'makers' or 'doers', in a positive way, of course.
