the surfer

This was one of the first illustrations I've made with my new watercolours and I was really pleased with the outcome. The colours dry lighter than my previous watercolours, but the pigment is so much brighter. And there was no better subject to test them on, because this guy is the definition of colour. He's also that kind of person that lives his life to the fullest, filling it with so many activities. I've tried to capture them all in one picture, I hope I did it justice.
