the families on the road

This was a funny story, these two portraits are connected. Not only each of them is a family portrait but the people from both of them are actually part of an entire family all together. And also, another portrait I made way back is what actually brought all of them together (well, the commissioner) and she's also part of the family. And they all have cars in their portraits as well. It's a nice thought to know that members of a family, who started their own families, each now has an illustration made by moi, in their homes. It took me a while to figure it all out, because I'm not really Captain Hindsight. But it was a fun fact. If you are confused at this point, don't worry, you didn't miss anything.
