the nationals

 Time for a new Different-kind-of-Portrait and this time, pack your bags, we're going to travel a bit. From Romania to the U.S., that's where the main characters from this illustration are from and that's why we chose some symbols or landmarks from these places, to represent their grounds. If I remember correctly, this was a wedding gift, and they were going to have some Romanian traditional costumes at the event, so naturally, we went for the ie, the most famous Romanian blouse, as a way to connect them. Otherwise, it's their story to tell, of how they met, how they fell in love, and continue to honor that relationship. This is what most of the portraits that I do are actually about: love. It's one of our core values anyway. I'm glad I'm here to capture it in this way.
