the new planet

 It's been a while, I took some time off to be with family and enjoy a bit of this summer. It would have felt more like a vacation if I hadn't injured my foot. So now I have to work on the recovery while working on projects. Lovely. I still think I need a real vacation, one that resembles the entire vibe of this next different-kind of portrait. It's just so positive, so summerish, and feels super powerful at the same time, I love it. I am once again smitten by the colours in this painting, I really had a blast painting the watercolour sky and the sandy dunes. I also love the little details in the background of this illustration but I'm going to let you discover those for yourself.
