abstract geometric patterns

Let's call this project A Geometric Playground... or how I procrastinate productively. You know how sometimes you open Procreate just to “test a few brushes” and suddenly it’s three hours later and you’ve accidentally made a mini abstract series? Yeah. That happened. It's a rare cosmic event, but it happens once (or twice) in maybe three years.
In preparation for a new project, I decided to warm up my creative gears and play around with some colourful geometric shapes. No big plan, just pure digital doodling. The result? A bunch of little abstract background patterns that look suspiciously like something I’d actually use later (so maybe this wasn’t procrastination after all). If you’ve been following my work, you already know I have a thing for geometry and space; it’s basically my love language. What I love about abstract art is that it looks simple… until you try making it. Then you realise every line, colour, and shape has to mean something — or at least look like it does. It’s this delicate dance between chaos and structure, expression and composition. And when it works, it’s kind of magical.
These little designs are bright, playful, and versatile?! 'Cause I'm seeing coasters, prints on various things and all sorts of opportunities here. They’re pure visual rhythm, a bit of colour therapy, and a good reminder that art doesn’t always have to be something. Sometimes, it’s enough that it just feels right.
So here’s to geometric daydreaming and colourful distractions that somehow turn into actual work.
