astrohelmet - sticker design for planeta curcubeu
Here is my latest design made for one of my favourite and most supportive clients, the lovely Odette from Planeta Curcubeu. Meet AstroHelmet, the main “character” of our latest collaboration. You’ve probably seen me mention her here before — she’s basically the planet to my orbit. You might remember all the designs we created throughout her creative journey (and mine), building her branding one small graphic at a time. If not, here's a quick reminder. And in this time-space continuum, we created a lovely rainbow-coloured universe.
Remember those colourful geometric backgrounds from my last blog post? Well, turns out they weren’t just abstract daydreams; one of them, which I kept secret until now, found its cosmic purpose. To be honest, that was the intention from the get-go. The concept started with the leitmotif of her brand, which centres around colourful planets and space. She wanted a cool sticker design that she could surprise her clients with, A small, artsy gift to show her appreciation for their support. I'm happy she chose me again for this design. Because you know me, I love anything space-related too. I think that's why we work so well. That's how the astronaut helmet came along; it's a simple yet cohesive element that represents her brand.
There’s something about space art that just fits so well with my style — all those geometric shapes floating in a watercolour cosmos, coming together like stars aligning in Procreate. And this one? It speaks about exploration, curiosity, and maybe a bit of sticker-sized existentialism. Because if you’re going to stare into the void, you might as well do it with good design.
