the couple on holiday

This was quite a unique commission, four portraits in one go. But I had so much fun working on them. I even tried new watercolour techniques that I've been wanting to try for a while now. And as I always say, it's just great when I can learn new things.

So, she wanted all these illustrations for him, most of them were reinterpretations of some of their holiday photos. And, I don't know what it is, I've painted a lot of different scenarios before, with various destinations in the background, but when I look at these, it's like they take me on a vacation. If I had these in my home I'd be planning travelling schedules all the time. So I hope this lovely couple continued to gather more lovely memories in even more beautiful destinations.
