the out-of-this-world portraits
I've just left some potatoes in the oven, so I'll be quick.
It's good to be back, I feel like I'm back somehow. 'Cause I have a plan, for posting, this is the first week I'm implementing it, so let's see how that works out. But it's time for some different-kind-of portraits y'all. And while we're on the subject, let me just announce it here too, I've made a separate page for this project on Instagram. I just felt these illustrations were not properly showcased on my main art account, I thought maybe some people don't look at stories or at the highlights all the time. But at the same time, if I posted them on my feed, I thought everything would get mixed up since I can't really organise them in separate ways... Maybe I'm overthinking this.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Here's the page, @adifferentkindofportrait, like it if you like it.
Today's portraits are, as the title says, out of this world. Literally. Well, maybe not literally... I mean, I painted them, in my lab... and I'm on this world... So, yeah. But the theme is quite worldly. And that's awesome. The first one is from two years ago, I think. I think I just went around it somehow. But now that I'm checking my archives for the new insta posts, nothing gets by me.
The baby portrait is actually an addition to an older portrait of the family in space, I'll link it here.
