the sea turtles

 Another week, another project and another different-kind of portrait. I am so far behind with posting these, you have no idea. But nevertheless, we shall prevail. Today's portrait is summer-themed, with a picnic by the seashore, on a secluded beach under a colourful sunset. I can't explain it, but looking at this painting makes me feel like I'm there somehow. And it's not even one of those hyper-realistic drawings, yet I feel the warmth of the sun. Maybe it's just me, maybe I've been very invested when painting this or maybe I'm tired when I'm writing this post, either way, I think we have a new addition to the favourites collection.
