the festival couples

Keeping up with the festival theme, I've found two more illustrations that fit right in. And even though music festivals are a summer thing, these two make me think of those perfect autumn days, which are now gone as well, so... anyway.

This first portrait was a gift for a couple of friends and it was inspired by one of their favourite photos, which I really loved too because it shows all the love and the playfulness of a relationship.

And this second one is also recreated after a photo and even though it was commissioned, it will forever stick with me because of two reasons. One: it is one of the very, very few portraits in which I drew a character from a profile view, which is hard when drawing bobble-heads but here it worked somehow. And two: because of the reaction video I got when it was gifted, it made me tear up and so emotional. Thank you guys!
