 This Different-Kind-of-Portrait of the day is the latest illustration of some close friends of mine and as I've mentioned in the past with other such portraits, it's so much easier drawing familiar faces. But difficult at the same time because I don't get objective feedback, I have to do that myself, and I am my own worst critic so it's a slow-rolling process but very fulfilling at the end. Without further ado, here's the painting, I wanted to keep it simple but also incorporate some things that they love or their passions, so you'll see their dog, which is their most loved "thing" of them all, a super special guitar that he has since he is a musician and she's a nail artist so you'll see that on her hands.
