the painter and the beekeeper

 It's time for a new different-kind-of portrait, and today's theme is about two very passionate people, one who makes art and the other one who makes honey. These two together are just the cutest. What made me even happier is that the painting was in the style that I used to make them at the very beginning of this project, the bobblehead figures, as I used to call them. It's just a more cute look than the doll-like ones I paint nowadays. I like them both, but I love it when I get a request to draw the older version. Here's the result:
