the snowy family

 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and while I was thinking about it since September, people are usually getting into the spirit just now. Don't get me wrong, I don't deck my halls with boughs of holly when the first leaf falls, but I do start to look for presents. I call it being proactive, however, the retailers seem to have caught on to this and to people like me, but I'm digressing. Today is a Different-Kind-of Portrait day, and I'm glad my posting aligned perfectly so that I have a wintery portrait to post in the actual winter months. Many more will come next year, but for now, let's start December right, with this snowy wonderland and this joyful family.
