the hubby and the hubble

 If you ask me this portrait was long overdue. 6 years long. But 6 years is a perfect inside joke, so the timing couldn't be more perfect. Anyway, this year I thought I'd make a portrait for my better half's birthday, I included everything he loves like his dream car, his job, his hobby, his favourite artist, his favourite attire and his favourite cat ( and the cat's favourite toy). I always get nervous painting people I know, because the pressure is so much higher to make things just right (or the pressure is purely on my part). Nevertheless, this one turned out quite well, he loved it so I couldn't have been happier.
